About Michael Saavedra, MD, FAAAAI
Dr. Michael Saavedra is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. Originally from New Orleans, he moved to Arizona and began practicing as an allergist in the valley in 2009.
Dr. Saavedra evaluates and treats both children and adults for a variety of allergic conditions, including sinus allergy, asthma, food allergies, eczema, hives and more. He believes that education is an essential part of each patient’s treatment plan and is committed to providing the best medical care possible by taking time to listen to his patients, answer all questions and ensure that symptoms are well controlled.
He is the past president of the Arizona Allergy and Asthma Society and currently a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. In his spare time, he enjoys music, tennis and traveling with his wife.
